A River Between Us - 'LE FLEUVE ENTRE NOUS'
“A River Between Us”, is the winner of Short Film Screenplay Competition in the
Amazonas Film and it was shot on locations in the Amazon Region, Brazil.
the film is taken as a road-barge-movie it tells the story of a young
couple travelling to a small city inland enforcing the opposition
between the rural and urban in the Amazonian universe.
"A River Between Us" received 800kg of lighting equipment that came to Amazonas from Sao Paulo due to prize offered by Quanta Lighting Company, it was the first time such an equipment was provided to an Amazonian genuine production.
The film will be transfered to 35mm in Rio de Janeiro Liink Digital Lab and will be released in November 2009, during the short film competition in the Amazonas Opera House.
